Neurodivergent Learner Support

Flexible Enrollment Options

Every learner deserves an environment where they feel seen, understood, and supported. At Luminary, we embrace neurodiversity and recognize that children learn, communicate, and engage with the world in different ways.

Our flexible support option is designed for neurodivergent learners who may benefit from a more individualized approach while remaining an active part of our vibrant learning community. Together with families, we develop a plan that honors each learner's strengths, interests, sensory needs, communication style, and pace of learning.

Depending on each child's needs, support may include:

  • Flexible scheduling and attendance options

  • A calm, relationship-centered learning environment

  • Opportunities to build authentic friendships and social confidence

  • Support in developing communication and interpersonal skills

  • Executive functioning support, including planning, organization, and self-management

  • Individualized guidance during projects and community activities

  • Space to regulate, recharge, and move at a comfortable pace

  • Real-world learning experiences that build independence and confidence

Rather than expecting learners to fit a predetermined model, we strive to create an environment that adapts to the learner. Our goal is to help every child experience a sense of belonging, develop meaningful relationships, discover their strengths, and grow into a confident, capable young person.

Families may choose this option as a primary learning experience or as a complement to their homeschooling journey, depending on their child's individual needs.
